Steve, Donna. and Cromwell
We hiked 7.5 miles in 6 hours 50 minutes for an average speed of 1.1
mph. We gained 1785 feet to the top
Before
After
It was not easy finding a way across the first stream- this is the best we
could find
Here is the trail (it only looks like a stream)
more people pics
There were 3 tough spots to walk up near the top, this a view back of the
easiest
We did not dally too long on the top
Donna fell while frolicking in this area
Donna’s radius (the large bone in her forearm) was broken in two places at
the wrist, with minimal displacement. Her ulna (the smaller bone) was
dislocated. She had 2 hours of surgery Wednesday to reduce the
fracture and dislocation while placing a plate over her radial fracture.
And she never complained on the way down (except to hint we were going to slow).
